We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who shall be responsible for the development and management of assigned portfolio of products for the regional market.
Main Duties
The main responsibilities of this position shall be to:
- Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationship
- Manage both existing sales pipeline, plan and develop new business opportunities
- Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
- Identify trends and customer needs and build short to long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
- Develop strategies and positions by analysing new venture integration while evaluating risks and business potentials
- Coordinate and Implement marketing strategies
- Manage and build customers base while establishing strong business relationship
- Manage distributor(s) and logistics service providers in market
- Motivate and train the team, track performance and report metrics
Profile of the candidate
- Degree in Marketing or any other equivalent
- Experience of managing a field force team and/or distributors
- At least 5 years experience in business and trade/distribution channel development in the FMCG sector
- Willing to take short to long-term assignment abroad is essential
- Experience of working in/with overseas market will constitute an advantage
- Ability to work in diverse and different market/environment
- Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and leadership skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills
- Result oriented with ability to maintain high standard of service level
