While our core business lies in representing and distributing leading international brands, BrandActiv has also developed strong local brands such as Tropical, Mimil, La Tropicale, Marémer, Greenfield, Mari Gajak and Sak y Prop.
Our sales and merchandising teams are broken down into three business categories to ensure focus to maximise availability and visibility.
Food & Beverage: 29 Sales team members; 27 Merchandisers
Personal & Home Care: 42 Sales team members; 29 Merchandisers
Frozen & Chilled: 32 Sales team members; 17 Merchandisers
Our route-to-market is segmented by channel to deliver both numeric and weighted distribution. Over and above Key Accounts channel, we also have distinct sales teams to oversee HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants and Cafes), Beauty, Pharmacy, PFMS (Petroleum Food Marts & Superettes) and Traditional Trade.
At BrandActiv, we see it as a mission to bring life to our brands. This means not only knowing our products inside and out, but also understanding the Mauritian consumers’ needs and market trends to plan the most effective brand activation strategies. We work in partnership with our international partners to define the appropriate product portfolio and supporting strategies for the local market.
BrandActiv operates with a fully integrated ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), which is constantly upgraded to meet the evolving needs of the business. Our field sales and merchandising teams are also equipped with SFA (Sales Force Automation) devices operating with geolocation to optimise communication and monitoring between departments.
Our world-class, 22,700 square metre warehousing facilities operate following the highest standards of compliance and hygiene. The logistics fleet consists of 49 delivery trucks operated by expertly trained staff, guaranteeing the best handling conditions.
BrandActiv’s network extends beyond Mauritian borders, as the company also provides distribution services in Madagascar and Seychelles. We work with strategic partners in these markets and offer to manage the supplier’s portfolio entirely, thereby centralizing contact to a single point for multiple markets.
