An award-winning streak, two years in a row: BrandActiv shines again on the international stage

BrandActiv has done it again. Elevating Chupa Chups to new heights, the company has secured the 2026 Market Execution Excellence Award (Middle East & Africa) for New Product Development marking the second consecutive year where this iconic brand has been recognised for outstanding innovation and execution.

Chupa Chups has enjoyed a strong presence in Mauritius for many years, beloved for its renowned lollipops. Over the past two years, however, BrandActiv accelerated the brand’s development by transforming it from a single-format offering into a broader confectionery portfolio. More than 40 new SKUs were introduced across jellified and extruded candies, cotton candy, and bubble gum each carefully developed to support portfolio diversification, strengthen market coverage and unlock new consumption moments. In so doing, BrandActiv has demonstrated its ability to drive brand creativity and innovation and reinforced its commitment to portfolio growth through structured execution.

 

With Chupa Chups, this approach was first acknowledged in 2025 with an award for the Best New Product Development launch in Africa, highlighting the team’s strong commitment.

 

Building on this momentum, the launch of the Chupa Chups Marshmallow range further expanded consumption opportunities while remaining fully aligned with the brand’s playful identity. This initiative earned BrandActiv the Middle East Africa Award in 2026, once again reflecting its disciplined approach to innovation and market execution.
